An apprenticeship is a unique opportunity to be taken directly under Sifu’s guidance through the 12 student grades of the Wing Chun system. In Chinese Kung Fu the name given to a Master’s private student is “Todai” and is an honoured title in all Kung Fu schools. A Todai will learn to “become” Kung Fu both internally and externally, learning in depth the techniques and philosophy throughout the system, and training with Sifu directly. As a result they will achieve a higher standard much faster than usual, with a deeper understanding than others may ever reach.

The apprenticeship lasts 2 years and aims to intensively train the right individual to a standard equivalent to 3-5 years of normal training. The course will be hard and fast paced so to be considered for this opportunity you must not only be committed, but demonstrate determination, self-drive, good character, intelligence, and the ability to learn! The course requires no previous experience of martial arts and candidates may be Male of Female and of any age over 21. It will be both physically and mentally demanding and, but will be even more physically and mentally rewarding for those fortunate enough to be accepted- the profound effect of Real Kung Fu Training on every aspect of your life cannot be put into words, and will stay with you forever!

The opportunity to become a Todai and train directly under a Sifu’s watch does not come about often. The training will be personalised to the individual so as to bring the best out of them, and will cover the following aspects:-
- Forms & Applications
- Conditioning
- Chi Kung (hard and soft)
- Chi Sau & Poon Sau (sensitivity training)
- Chinese Theory, Philosophy and Terminology
- Pressure Testing
All aspects of high quality Chinese Kung Fu will be taught in depth, something not possible in classes or to other students simply because of the lack of time and practice they are able to put in. As a result a Todai can expect to become a remarkable martial artist with a unique skill set if they are committed to absorbing the information offered to them.

Apprenticeships are limited to 2 per year and to be accepted you will need to apply for consideration
